We have a Lord who watches over us even when we sleep; He never slumbers. If we went on a big camping trip in a forest where bears were known to roam, how much safer would you feel if you had someone who said they would stay up all night to listen out for any unusual noises? I would sleep a lot better. But that person could fall asleep. But our God never sleeps and never slumbers. Sleep peacefully tonight knowing we have a faithful watchman! Amen!

Night Etching: He Never Slumbers
I lift up my eyes to the hills. From whence does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. He will not let your foot be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade on your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all evil; He will keep your life. The Lord will keep your going out and coming in from this time forth and forever. -Psalm 121: 1-8
