Mid-Day Thought: Wings Like Eagles

Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint. -Isaiah 40:31

There are some days, some moments, and some situations that can take control before you know what has happened. This snowballing effect can wear you down. Have you ever had to care for someone you love dearly? You deem it an honor and joy to care for your loved one, but this can take a toll physically, mentally, and spiritually. You are not complaining, but you know you cannot continue to go on without some kind of rejuvenation.
You may have someone you worry about. They are on the wrong road to nowhere and you feel helpless. You need a prayer or a good Word to give you strength.
Either way, when you can take just a moment and close your eyes, take a deep breath, and let it out slowly. Do this a few times and just picture our Lord filling you with His love. Amen.
