One of the worst things that can happen to us as followers of Christ is to allow ourselves to give in to sin especially in front of those who doubt and ridicule us for loving Jesus. No matter what the situation might be, we always want to show others the integrity and love of Jesus that in in our hearts in all things. This verse here is a mini-prayer. The psalmist is asking for our Lord to take us; take control of our emotions so that we will not be put to shame. Only His Ways, His righteousness, can save us. May we stop and pray this mini-prayer before we say or do anything...foolish. Amen.
