Into Your hand I commit my spirit; You have redeemed me, O Lord, God of truth. -Psalm 31:5
Each of us has a spirit. This spirit is likened into how we act. If someone says bad things to us, we can commit our spirits to pride, and anger will override our spirit. If our lives are centered on our job, we can commit our spirits to our bosses, and spend all our time working. But when we commit our spirit to God, He keeps us safe and strong, and allows us to see the truth of all situations. Amen!
