For Christ did not send me to baptize but to preach the Gospel, and not with words of eloquent wisdom, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power.

In this chapter, Paul is discussing among the Christians not to quarrel. The church is having a debate of who was better whether Paul, or Apollo, or Cephas?
Paul is trying to tell the people that we all have our different service to perform according to God!
Let me ask you, what is more important for growing a flower, the sunshine, the water, or the ground? That's right, they all are important and each have their particular function. So it is with each of us in the kingdom of God. Don't worry what others are equipped to do, just concern yourself with the gift that God has given you...and be thankful! Amen!
